We are a new farm and all of our little trees are still growing to become a beautiful tree to be placed in your home.It takes 5-8 years for a Christmas tree to grow, and we’ve only been growing trees for a couple of years. We plant new seedlings and transplants every year.

Fraser Fir

(Abies fraseri)

• The Fraser Fir is the Cadillac of Christmas trees, grown for both personal and commercial production.  Known for it's classic shape and notable fragrance, this conifer is the cousin to the Balsam Fir.  The biggest difference is that the Fraser Fir has a little fatter stem and needles and has a rich green color that lasts a bit longer than the Balsam Fir.  The Fraser Fir exhibits a pointed crown and silvery white aromatic foliage.  This is simply a beautiful tree and ours are premium quality.  Grows best in moist but well drained, fertile soil which is very acidic and somewhat protected from drying winds.

Douglas Fir

• The Blue Douglas Fir is considered one of the noblest forest trees, very ornamental, an excellent tree. It makes a nice short needle Christmas tree.

Concolor Fir

(Abies concolor)

• The Concolor Fir has been steadily gaining popularity as a Christmas tree in recent years.  This conifer exhibits a blue-green color, with longer needles than most other Fir trees.  The needles remain on the tree long after cutting.  The needles have a pleasant scent, described as citrus or orange-like.  Able to tolerate both the cold and the heat, this tree will grow in southern regions where others will not.

White Spruce

• The White Spruce is an evergreen with dense foliage and needles that are blue-green in color.  This conifer is a faster grower than many other spruces and is a great choice for heavier soils such as clay.  From a distance, you may mistake this tree for a Blue Spruce since its color and shape when it is younger does look somewhat similar.  Commonly found in nature along streams and lakeshores, this spruce is more shade tolerant than most other spruces.  Very popular as a Christmas tree, the White Spruce is also naturally deer resistant and provides high wildlife value.

Norway Spruce

• The Norway Spruce is a true northwoods giant that can reach heights of 90+ feet. This conifer has the same conical shape as the White Spruce, but exhibits its signature drooping branches as it matures. This fast growing evergreen has dark green color with short, shiny and stiff needles. A common choice for windbreaks since its strong and flexible form can withstand winds over 100mph. The Norway Spruce tolerates dry locations better than other spruces, but prefers loamy, well-drained locations. This tree is very adaptable to most conditions and naturally deer resistant.

White Pine

• The Eastern White Pine is a fast-growing evergreen, hardy and adaptable to many soil types. The soft, wispy needles are clustered in groups of 5. With sticky aromatic buds, this pine emits a pleasant scent, particularly after the rain. The young bark is smooth and silvery, maturing to dark grayish-brown with broad ridges and deep furrows. Popular for the home landscape, as well as reforestation projects. This is the most popular conifer that we sell, and we have sold millions!

Scotch Pine

• The Scotch Pine is a medium to large conifer which tolerates poor soil conditions quite nicely. When this pine is young, its shape is usually pyramidal. As it grows old, it takes on a more rounded, open and irregular shape. The peeling bark is a beautiful orange and brown color which adds winter interest. The East Anglia has 3" needles, while Scots Highland has 2" needles, a fine Christmas tree. Both varieties of this conifer produce a pine cone which is 1-3" in length. This drought tolerant pine, grows just about anywhere and is great for sandy soils.
